Beetlejuice Left Slingshot Custom 3D Plastic Replacement

Somebody at the Netherworld art department mixed up the scenes. We fixed it.

Betelgeuse only wears the iconic GUIDE hat when he erupts from the tomb—and in that scene, his eyes are surrounded by that unmistakable dark purple makeup.

The original left slingshot plastic depicts Guide Betelgeuse with flesh-toned eye sockets. That detail never looked right to us, so CRCades created a corrected replacement featuring the purple eye sockets from the actual tomb scene.

The change also brings the left slingshot artwork into better visual harmony with the other detailed depictions of Betelgeuse throughout the game—including the carousel artwork, where the artist also used the same bold purple treatment as part of the game’s distinctive visual style. The result feels more intentional, more cohesive, and much more at home on the playfield.

The GUIDE hat belonged to the tomb scene. Those creepy, flesh-toned staring eyes didn’t. So we gave him the proper purple eye sockets—and made sure he’s leering straight at you now. Ugh… why is he still looking at us?
